Kent. Dark, empty, deserted. VERY brief sketch. View from Jesse's room. You can see the tattered warehouses and people stumbling inebriated around the corner of the basin at night. Many empty buildings with smashed windows. We moved out a few days after this
Decided I needed to try more styles..going for a bolder graphic aesthetic here. And colour!

Saatchi and Saatchi, Courtenay Place. Sitting in Enigma watching the world go by.

Day 6/7. Begun on flight to Wellington from Christchurch, wing of plane from my window.

Right Image is illustration in question, have since combined the two and framed.

Day Five-Last night in Christchurch. Drawing of my little sister playing Cello on Christmas Day (taken from a photograph).

Day Three. Mum's house in Christchurch

Day Two. Maryann's deck and Garden.

Have decided to upload some of what I've been working on since the start of the year. I aimed to do an illustration every day. So far this has proved a challenge! Will upload more soon.

Illustration is of my Aunt's design space overlooking New Brighton. She has a great eye for detail, I felt privileged to appropriate her studio for a few days.
